Welcome to my new site! Per your requests, I have loaded your fave blogs to this site for you. The original dates to all posts will be listed in the titles.

January 1st, 2019. A new beginning.  I’m sure most of you had your vision parties where you have planned out the rest of your life thoroughly, ruining stacks of good magazines with great content.  Since when has creating a plan (resolution) become so cliche?  Rather it be a vision, resolution or plan, if taken seriously, can turn into something great. My New Year’s vision/resolution/plan/ is to organize my closet.  If you’re anything like me, you read the last five words of that sentence and cringed.  Below are a few tips on helping us get started and maintaining the closet of our dreams.

Out with the old, make room for the new.                                      Have you ever seen an episode of Hoarders? You know the show where people have major anxiety attacks as they watch people throw away their beloved straws and expired coupon clippings from 2001?  Well that’s what exactly how I am feeling and I’m sure you are too.  The first thing on our list is to do is to create three categories: Keep. Sell. Donate. The first one is going to be a piece of cake. You know which items you absolutely love and wouldn’t part ways with if your life depended on it. The second one? Who doesn’t want to make money selling things they love? It’s up to you to determine that fine line between sell and donate. There are so many new platforms that will assist you with selling your items.  Apps like Let go, Posh Mark, Tradesy and Offer Up allow you to post pics of your items from your cellphone and sell your items for free.  Most will feature your item as a first see for a few bucks to help you get things sold quicker. It’s super quick and convenient. You can also keep the apps to buy and sell other items in your home.  The last category is a little tricky.  What you consider trash will always be another persons treasure. So unless it has holes or stains, always throw it in the donate pile. Always.
  • Organization.
Now that we got the items that didn’t make the cut out of the way, let’s focus on what did. Organize your closet however you feel is best, by color, season, occasion. I, personally, have to start with my jeans. They are my most important items. I prefer to fold my jeans than to hang them up.  I’ll take care of blouses and dresses after. Now let’s move on to shoes and handbags. If you’re one of those fashionistas that keep all of their shoeboxes lucky you.  If you’re like me, and have a ton of shoes with no box homes, our best bet is to purchase a few cheap bookcases from Walmart (see pic below for link and example).  You can store these inside your walk in closet or outside it if you have a traditional closet.

  •  MAINTENANCE

Like other resolutions, maintaining our new masterpiece will take time and dedication. Keeping the first tip in mind is key to our success. As we add more new, we should still be assessing what we are ready to keep, sell or donate all year round.  After all our hard work, we want to make sure to take a picture and hang it somewhere in your closet. This pic will be the reminder we will need to keep the order needed to maintain the perfect closet.                                         Happy New Year and good luck with building the closet of your dreams in 2019!

Love after a Fuck Boy/Girl

So you finally did it. You finally ended that bittersweet toxic relationship and it probably took you 20 tries to get it right. None of that matters. Only thing that matters now is you’re free. If you’ve been in this situation like I have, you know leaving that person alone is actually easier than moving on. It’s funny because I know that you’ve picked yourself up, stared at yourself in the mirror like: “It’s on”, “I’m about to fuck the summer up”, “I’m out here”.    You bought all the nicest outfits, reinvented your entire look, bought tickets to the hottest beaches and had a great couple of months after your breakup.  One day, after all the fun and all the trips, something triggered you. Whether it was a holiday, a wedding, or a baby shower. Something clicked, and you’re like ok I’m ready to try this shit again.  Now that you've established that you’re ready to start dating again.  You get the ball rolling however you do it.  Sliding in DM’s, Tinder, Airdrop in the c

Toxicity 1•20•2019

So we are over half way through the first month of 2019.    How many people have you actually cut off like you told all of your social media followers you would?    If your answer is no don’t feel bad.    You’re only a small percent of the millions of people being victimized by toxicity.    I also have been blinded by toxic friends, lovers, jobs and family members.    Whether you like to admit it or not, keeping toxicity around us rubs off.    You may not realize it, but because of your interactions with toxic situations and toxic people, you have acquired some toxic traits.    Hopefully after reading this article we will all start the process of removing toxicity from our lives, but I hope we also are able to identify our own toxic characteristics and avoid victimizing other people and being apart of the never ending circle. There are so many toxic situations surrounding us but the most popular are friends, lovers, family members and jobs.    Within all of these situations I’

Relocating 01•10•2019

So you’re thinking about relocating?    My first question to you would be why?!    You may be asking yourself ‘Who died and made her the relocation expert?’ ‘Why does she want to know my reasons for moving?’    Let me say this, I’ve been in your shoes, twice. My first move from home wasn’t as successful and it was partially because I was running away from something. When we run away from things we are so focused on putting the present behind us that we have little time to think about the future.    We just want to wake up somewhere else and not have to deal with what’s going on at home.    My first move, I packed my things, ran out on my lease, and moved with family “until I got on my feet”.    Listen, everything I just said is a recipe for disaster!    I’ve been in the sunshine state for over 3 years now and wanted to share how I got here.  Do your research! Before I moved I went to Barnes and Noble and bought 3 books on Florida. I needed questions answered and to make sure t
