April Awareness 04•01•2019

April Awareness
Happy April. We know you are all anticipating the cold weather to turn into warm sunny days. Maybe you’re in Florida like us, and are looking forward to spending your weekends at the beach. We wanted to touch base with you on the great things that we have in store to make the launch of Spring even better.  We’ve decided to focus on awareness this month by kicking off the Self Love campaign.

Every Friday we plan on discussing a different topic to promote self love and help you get to your very best self. Be sure to come visit us every Friday to stay updated on this campaign.
April 5th: Mental Health, we will touch on subjects such as anxiety and depression and the taboos of getting help when need it.
April 12th: Physical Health, we will discuss the importance of healthy eating habits and regular doctor and dental visits.
April 19th: Self Care, this is our selfish week where we want you to focus on you and only you. We will talk about the importance of treating yourself.
April 26th: Exploring areas of opportunity, this week we will point out things about ourselves that we know could be better. We don’t like to call them weaknesses but areas of opportunity.
April 30th: Short term goals. We will start daily affirmations and creating daily goals for ourselves.

In honor of our self love campaign we will be offering self love coffee mugs to help you tackle your daily goals with your morning coffee or tea. These mugs will be available for pre order on April 19th for less than 11.00.

To finish everything off with a bang we will have our first guest blogger, Shanda Norton. On April 1st she started a 30 Days to Happy Journey. Tune in to hear about her road to self love and maybe find essential takeaways from her article.

Toxicity 1•20•2019

So we are over half way through the first month of 2019.    How many people have you actually cut off like you told all of your social media followers you would?    If your answer is no don’t feel bad.    You’re only a small percent of the millions of people being victimized by toxicity.    I also have been blinded by toxic friends, lovers, jobs and family members.    Whether you like to admit it or not, keeping toxicity around us rubs off.    You may not realize it, but because of your interactions with toxic situations and toxic people, you have acquired some toxic traits.    Hopefully after reading this article we will all start the process of removing toxicity from our lives, but I hope we also are able to identify our own toxic characteristics and avoid victimizing other people and being apart of the never ending circle. There are so many toxic situations surrounding us but the most popular are friends, ...

Bridal Gang 101 08•19•2019

I got to be apart of a beautiful union between two friends. I experienced being a bridesmaid for the first time. If you’ve never been married or ever been a bridesmaid/groom like myself, then 9 times out of 10 you have no idea what accepting that title entails.    Don’t fret! That’s why I’m here to try everything first and give you the do’s and don’ts after.  First things first. You need to go into this experience with the mindset that everything you are about to do is all for the bride and groom. Nothing about this experience is for you. A lot of people accept being a bridesmaid/groom and somewhere down the line the focus shifts from who the wedding is about creating all sorts of havoc. The bride/groom owe you nothing! By accepting the role in this union you are agreeing to take on all that comes with it.  As a bridesmaid/groom, you are required to buy your dress/tux and shoes. For women you will have to pay for you own hair, makeup and nail care. S...
